PRC Extends Acceptance of CPD Undertaking for Professional ID Renewal Until December 31, 2025

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced an extension for the acceptance of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) undertakings for the renewal of Professional Identification Cards (PIC). This extension will be in effect until December 31, 2025, allowing professionals additional time to comply with CPD requirements.

This extension is granted to accommodate the necessary orientations and capacity-building efforts related to the revised guidelines for recognizing, validating, and accrediting learning outcomes (LOs) gained through Self-Directed Learning (SDL), Professional Work Experience (PWE), and Informal Learning (IL). The PRC is also working on enhancing the CPD Accreditation System to ensure a smoother process for professionals.
