JUST IN: Salary Increase Announced by President Marcos to be Implemented Retroactively from January 2024

MANILA – The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced in a press briefing today that the first tranche of the salary increase, as announced by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in his State of the Nation Address (SONA), will be implemented this year retroactively from January 2024.

The DBM stated that an Executive Order will be issued to outline the details of the four-tranche salary increase.
