Republic Act No. 11313 otherwise known as the “Safe Spaces Act” is an act defining gender-based sexual harassment in streets, public spaces, online, workplaces, and educational or training institutions, providing protective measures and prescribing penalties.  It provides a framework to guarantee complete observance of human rights while ensuring the physical and psychological safety of employees. 

Relative to this, the Metro Manila Center for Health Development (MMCHD) through the Human Resource Development Unit will conduct four (4) batches of Virtual Orientation on Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) on March 11, 2024 for batches one and two and May 17, 2024 for batches three and four via Webex Platform. 

The said orientation aims to provide knowledge on the administrative rules on Sexual Harassment and discuss the salient points of RA 11313.
