The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) report that, in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) held on September 24, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand, and 40 testing centers across the Philippines, 23,782 out of 50,593 elementary teacher examinees (47.01%) and 53,995 out of 95,969 secondary teacher examinees (56.26%) successfully passed. Among the elementary teacher passers, 16,716 are first-timers, while 7,066 are repeaters. For secondary teachers, 39,979 are first-timers, and 14,016 are repeaters.
