The LET results were supposed to be made public on or before May 19, 2023, or forty-one (41) working days following the tests, in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, titled "Schedule of the Licensure Exam for the Year 2023." To the delight of the test takers, the results were, however, revealed earlier than anticipated.

A license to teach in the Philippines is required for aspirant teachers to pass the LET professional test. The PRC conducts its administration twice a year, often in March and September. The exam is broken up into two levels: the elementary level is for candidates who want to teach in the primary grades, and the secondary level is for those who want to teach in high school.

According to the exam's level, the exam covers a variety of courses, including English, Filipino, mathematics, science, social studies, and others. The LET has a 75% pass rate, and test takers who don't pass can retake the exam at the next appointment.
