SIM Registration Act
It's a new law that requires users to register their SIMs to strengthen protection from the growing spam and scam messages sent every day.

Until the purchaser presents the required paperwork for activation, none of the SIM cards for sale will function. Existing mobile subscribers must register their SIM cards by April 26, 2023, to prevent deactivation.
