The existence of many languages is under danger since some are becoming extinct. UNESCO believes that 40% population of the globe has little or no access to education in their first language. It is important to increase advancement in vernacular language teaching in order to understand the importance of mother tongue-based education system.
 
Celebrating the importance of cultural and linguistic diversity for sustainable societies by conducting a webinar entitled, “2022 International Mother Language Day: Preservation of Traditional Knowledge and Culture in a Sustainable Way”.

This webinar will be a virtual discussion of mother language advocates and professionals on the progress being made in mother tongue-based multilingual education with growing understanding of its importance, particularly in early schooling, and more commitment to its development in public life.
