The Center for Transformative Education (CTE) and the Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences (FBeSS) of the Philippine Normal University (PNU) invite educators, education leaders, teacher-researchers, and graduate students to submit research papers for the Annual Conference on Transformative Education (ACTED) - International 2021 with the theme, Preparing for a Post-Pandemic World: Trends and Trajectories on Transformative Education on 20-22 October 2021.

The conference aims to serve as an outlet for the latest researches on Transformative Education. Likewise, it is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges brought by the pandemic and how it changed the world. It will further examine the notions of transformation in a post-pandemic world by providing insights of the future we imagine.

Lastly, it considers how the current context and imagined post-pandemic future impact our conception and practice of transformative education.

The conference shall have the following objectives:
1. Reflect on the effects of the pandemic on the state of Transformative Education and related fields;
2. Foresee and identify trends in the development of Transformative Education and related fields;
3. Recognize educators and other scholars doing research on Transformative Education;
4. Provide a venue for collaboration and networking between the academe, various industries, and stakeholders to further peruse Transformative Education;
5. Make Transformative Education research relevant to contemporary needs.
