EXTENSION OF THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICANTS TO THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SPORTS ANNUAL SEARCH FOR COMPETENT, EXCEPTIONAL, NOTABLE, AND TALENTED STUDENT-ATHLETE SCHOLARS

This has reference to DepEd Memorandum No. 040, s. 2021 issued by the Office of the Secretary announcing the opening of the National Academy of Sports (NAS) Annual Search for Competent, Exceptional, Notable, and Talented Student-Athlete Scholars (NASCENT SAS) from June 18 to July 16, 2021. It serves as the NAS admission program to identify and offer scholarships to academically competent and athletically talented natural-born Filipino youth from all sectors of society, including indigenous people, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups.

Due to the tight initial timeline, the deadline for submission of applicants has been extended to July 31, 2021. The updated schedule of activities is as follows:
