DepEd School Calendar for School Year 2021-2022, Latest Update!

It was reported early this week that the tentative opening of classes for School Year 2021-2022 by the Department of Education is on August 23, 2021.

But this news draws mixed reactions from various stakeholders including students, parents, and teachers.

Hence, DepEd is currently preparing for various possible scenarios for the opening of School Year (SY) 2021-2022. 

“We will be proposing various options for the President’s consideration,” DepEd said in a statement issued Friday, April 30. DepEd added that the official guidelines for SY 2021-2022 calendar will also be issued “soon.”.

Updated DepEd School Calendar SY 2020-2021

March 1 to 12 – Bridging Learning Gaps/ Academic Break
March 15 to 19 – INSET and Wellness Program
Quarter 3 – March 22, 2021 to May 15, 2021.
Quarter 4 – May 17, 2021 to July 10, 2021.
