SEAMEO-RELATED EVENTS 2021

The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) announces the conduct of the following events:

1. SEAMEO TROPMED Network’s Innovation in School Health Project Contest (Innovation in School Health Initiative Award 2021)

The SEAMEO TROPMED Network is celebrating its 55th Founding Anniversary. The forefathers’ reason for its establishment is the need for a healthy community if we want a healthy economy. This thinking is still very much relevant today as indicated by the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #3, Good Health and Well-being, and SDG #4, Quality Education. These two SDGs and other SDGs are integrated and inter-related. These goals serve as policy guideposts for the continuous mission of SEAMEO TROPMED Network to serve the people of the region.

All primary, junior, and senior high school students from schools in the 11 SEAMEO-member countries are invited to submit proposals showcasing innovative approaches in the implementation of school health initiatives. The school initiative should have been implemented and/or currently being implemented within the last three years.

Deadline for submission of narrative report is on June 30, 2021. Interested applicants may access this link for further information about the contest:
