DepEd Graduation Rites for School Year 2020-2021 [Guidelines to be released)

 

Graduation rites is one of the most important events in the lives of every student but because of the CoVid-19 pandemic it was not allowed for the safety of everyone.

Hence, the Department of Education is set to release guidelines in the conduct of graduation rites for school year 2020-2021.

 

 

According to DepEd Usec. Diosdado San Antonio, the face-to-face graduation may still not be possible at the momemnt because of the existng health crisis in the country. However, virtual garduation rites will definitely be allowed.

"Tungkol sa face-to-face graduation, ang tingin ko hindi pa rin papayagan. Pero virtual, payag," he said.

When it comes to private schools, Usec. San Antonio emphasized that the department will repesct their decisions o how will they conduct their graduation ceremonies as long as they are compliant to the IATF guidelines.
