DepEd Teachers: What to Learn in Upcoming Virtual INSET March 2021

VIRTUAL IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS (MARCH 2021)

 The Memo about the National INSET for Public School Teachers was released and published on March 4, 2021. 

The Virtual INSET will be conducted by DepEd ICTS-EdTech Unit, headed by Sir Mark Anthony Sy. It will be a five-day sessions aims to further expand the participants’ skills and knowledge on different digital teaching materials, systems and approaches that are useful in delivering quality instruction. 

So, what will be the new skills or new applications or new Educational Technology that EdTech Unit will be teaching or sharing to all public school teachers?

Here are some of the topics to be discussed:

• Google Workspace, formerly known as G Suite, is a collection of cloud computing, productivity and collaboration tools, software and products developed and marketed by Google. 
• Scratch is a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations.
• Hour of Code - Programming is the process of designing and building an executable computer program to accomplish a specific computing result or to perform a specific task
• Graphics Poster Design in Photoshop
• Mobile Apps for Education
