DepEd New Uniform: 4 Important Things to Remember

On March 31, 2021, Department of Education released the new sets of uniform for teaching and non-teaching personnel.

 

Here are the designs of the Department of Education's new National uniform for teaching and non-teaching personnel.

 4 Things to remember:

 

1.P6, 000 clothing / uniform allowance (CUA) available for this year and another 6,000 pesos for the next years. This allowance is in response to government employee s' need for their uniforms.

 

2.Recommended to develop a strategy for using CUA for uniform making. Choose affordable yet quality materials to make your custom uniform neat and durable.

 

3. Design prototype will be displayed at DepEd Central Office soon, including a prototype for different body types. There will also be a virtual viewing to make employees more familiar with uniform details.

 

4.P6, 000 CUA's presentation will start on April 5, 2021. All finance officers are reminded to prepare and process the CUA to receive eligible employees no earlier than the first working day of April.
